THE COMPLETE GUIDEBengali Wedding Dates 2026–27 — Complete Guide
Planning a Bengali wedding often begins with choosing an auspicious date. This guide brings the date list, tithi, lagna and muhurat information together so you do not have to search through multiple pages.
Use the date finder above first. Once you have shortlisted a date, you can move on to photography coverage, wedding planning and other practical decisions.
What is Bengali Wedding Muhurat?
Muhurat refers to the auspicious time window traditionally selected for an important ceremony. The exact timing can depend on the date, location, tithi, lagna and the Panjika or calculation method being followed.
What are Tithi and Lagna?
Tithi is a lunar day used in traditional Hindu calendars. In this wedding-date tool, লগ্ন means the auspicious wedding-time window (the concept commonly called muhurat in Hindi usage). We will show a wedding-time only when it can be verified from the chosen Panjika/source; otherwise the field is intentionally left blank.
Why can Bengali wedding dates differ between sources?
Different Panjikas or calculation methods can sometimes publish different dates or timings. Location and the exact calculation convention can also affect the displayed wedding time (muhurat). If a specific wedding-time cannot be verified from the chosen source, LMP Weddings leaves the field blank rather than guessing.
How to choose your Bengali wedding date
- Shortlist dates that suit both families.
- Check the tithi and the published wedding-time (lagna/muhurat), if available.
- Confirm the final location-specific timing with your priest.
- Only then lock the venue, vendors and photography team.
Wedding Date & Lagna/Muhurat source / methodology
Enter the Panjika or calculation source you are using in the LMP Weddings dashboard. Keeping the source visible helps visitors understand why a date or timing may differ from another publication.
